The Central Enterprises Yixing Innovation Competition is a nationwide innovation and creativity event jointly organized by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, along with the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Association for Science and Technology, and several other institutions. The competition has already been successfully held three times, attracting a total of 7,098 project submissions and drawing approximately 23,000 participants.
This event focuses on the nation's strategic emerging industries and features nine competitive tracks. China National Pharmaceutical Group (Sinopharm) is hosting the biotechnology track, with specific implementation carried out by Sinopharm China Biologics. The biotechnology track covers topics such as genetic engineering, protein engineering, cell engineering, enzyme engineering, microbial fermentation technology, bioinformatics, biomaterials, bioreactors, and large-scale protein purification and preparation techniques.
A total of 212 projects were submitted to the biotechnology track, and 146 of them advanced to the semifinal stage. Among them, the "One-Time Seminal Vesicle Endoscope Scrotal Endoscope Project" from Jiutou Niao successfully made it through—now advancing to the semifinals of the 4th Central Enterprises Yixing Innovation & Creativity Competition!
