To support the development of specialized brands at grassroots hospitals by equipping them with sustainable "fishing tools," the second training workshop on "Advanced Techniques for Reparative Surgery of External Genital Malformations and Management of Male Sexual Dysfunction," organized by the Grassroots Urology and Andrology Branch of the Chinese Society of Sexology, was successfully held in Guangzhou on July 16, 2022.
The training workshop was led by a team of experts, including Chief Physician Li Hu, Chairman of the Primary Urology and Andrology Branch of the Chinese Society of Sexology, along with renowned specialists from Guangdong Province, who delivered lectures and performed surgical demonstrations. At the start of the session, Chief Physician Li Hu introduced "The Application of Jiutou Niao Medicine in the Development of Andrology."
Director Li Hu first introduced the localization of the Jiutou Niao device and its application of dual-channel penile rigidity measurement in diagnosing male erectile dysfunction. The Jiutou Niao penile rigidity tester utilizes cutting-edge global dynamic sensing technology, analyzing penile hardness and the number of erections by tracking changes in penile diameter. The software features fully automated analysis of erection curves, seamlessly generating comprehensive test reports. Additionally, Doppler ultrasound blood flow testing was discussed as a complementary tool for conducting more detailed clinical assessments on patients experiencing insufficient erectile rigidity.
After introducing the diagnostic equipment for male erectile dysfunction, Director Li Hu went on to explain the design concept and practical applications of the Jiutouniao Premature Ejaculation Treatment System. The Jiutouniao system is the first domestically developed treatment solution specifically tailored for premature ejaculation, designed and produced based on comprehensive clinical guidelines and refined through a series of expert recommendations. Key components of the system include sensitivity testing of the penile head, assessment of penile nerve sensitivity, diagnosis of the patient’s ejaculatory latency period, as well as pelvic floor muscle therapy and desensitization training.
